Story
I’ll be hiking the Kokoda Track for 9 days early September; a total of 6,000m climb and 6,000m descent over 96km (phew!).
I've created this fundraising page because I want to use the opportunity to make a change. I'm inspired by the amazing work of Hutt St Centre in helping the many people who find themselves homeless each year, so I want to raise money to help them help more people. Every dollar raised goes direct to the charity.
My PNG adventure will be one heck of a challenge but nowhere near as challenging and raw as worrying about where you will rest your head tonight, will you be safe, or where your next meal is going to come from.
Please support Hutt St Centre and every person they support by making a tax-deductible donation. As I said, every dollar raised goes to the charity.
Homelessness can happen to anyone. It could be your mother, sister, father, brother or friend. It could be you.
The more people that know about Hutt St Centre the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing the link to this page with your friends and family.
Thank you! Wish me luck on the Track!
