G'day!
How much do you love the idea of Burpees?
Let me rephrase..... How much do you like the idea of making me do Burpees? Well if you want to enjoy sweet sweet revenge for all the Burpees I have made you do or you would like to help a great cause please read on!
The weather is miserable, it is cold and it is stormy. It is the perfect temperature to curl up on the couch under a blanket with some good food and your loved ones. But while you are warm, snug, and smiling there are hundreds of people outside, alone and freezing this winter.
The good people at the Hutt Street Centre are asking for help from you and I, the fortunate people of Adelaide, who have a roof, warm food, and a caring heart to come together and help them raise much needed funds for those less fortunate than ourselves.
In an attempt to raise funds for an incredible cause I will be doing one Burpee for every dollar we raise. That means if we can raise $100 I will complete 100 Burpees. If we can raise $1000 I will complete 1000 Burpees, If we raise $5000....... Yep I will complete 5000 burpees.
As individuals there is only so much we can do, but together we have the opportunity to make a really significant positive impact. Remember team, every dollar raised will go a long way to help.
You can donate between now and the 29th of June and remember for every single dollar donated another Burpee is earnt. On the 30th of June I will complete every single Burpee but more importantly your funds will go to help local men and woman stay warm and dry this Winter.

Hutt St Centre
Homelessness can and does happen to anyone.
Hutt St Centre is a place of hope, opportunity and choice, helping people facing homelessness in South Australia to rebuild their lives, without judgement.
Each year Hutt St Centre serves 40,000+ meals and offers case management and support services to nearly 2,000 people. Showers, laundry facilities, visiting health professionals, an aged city living program for our older clients, recreation activities, education and training, legal aid and assistance with finding housing are provided to the 200+ homeless people who visit Hutt St Centre each day.
